A vacancy has arisen for the position of Secretary at our Sporting Charitable Organisation.

The position does not require formal training, and the key requirements are proficiency in Microsoft Word, reliability, accuracy, and general computer skills.

Keeping minutes and handling professional duties regarding the Club is the essential skill and typically, will involve maintaining correspondence, managing insurance, keeping employee records, and handling dealings with our neighbours and any interested parties.

We are in the process of digitising our simple systems so that absolute minimal attendance at the Clubhouse is required – the necessary work can easily be done remotely, from home or office. We have monthly meetings at the Clubhouse.

This is an important position and is an opportunity for a reliable person to contribute to the local community within Burnley and Pendle.
